Loads and handling
What does dynamic pallet load mean?
Typically the rating while handling the loaded pallet, for example on forklift forks. Use the exact model’s rating and handling conditions, not its larger static figure.
Example: lifting boxed goods
Suppose the cargo weighs 800 kg. Ask for evidence covering the exact pallet, load distribution and lifting method. A rating established under different support conditions is not an automatic approval for this job.
Check the whole movement
Explain whether the unit is handled by forklift, pallet truck or conveyor, and describe the load’s contact points. The supplier needs the actual use conditions to assess suitability; the word dynamic alone is insufficient.
After damage or repair
A published value does not override missing boards, loose fixings or other defects. Isolate doubtful units and obtain a competent assessment before further use.
What to check next
- Confirm forks, orientation and handling method.
