Import and export
Can one plant passport cover a pallet of nursery plants?
Sometimes, but the passport must follow the appropriate plant trading unit. APHA describes circumstances where a pallet or trolley can carry one passport. Splitting that unit for onward supply may require replacement passports. A pallet ISPM 15 mark cannot replace plant documentation.
What to check next
- Identify the smallest trading units and destinations.
- Ask the authorised nursery operator to confirm passport attachment before splitting consignments.
