Radioactive materials
Is a pallet a certified radioactive transport package?
An ordinary pallet is not evidence of a qualified radioactive-material package. IAEA transport requirements address classification, packaging and related controls. Its 2025 edition must be read alongside the edition implemented by the applicable national and modal rules.
What to check next
- Verify the package design and required approvals.
- Check the transport mode and jurisdictions with the specialist.
