Can an ordinary shipping pallet enter a cleanroom?
Entry must follow the facility contamination-control strategy. EU GMP Annex 1 requires controlled material transfer into Grade A and B areas, with validated contamination-control procedures where sterilisation on transfer is not possible. A pallet catalogue cannot approve that process.
What to check next
- Obtain the facility transfer procedure.
- Confirm whether goods must transfer to an internal approved carrier.
