Does one hazardous-waste note cover the pallet and its cargo automatically?
The consignment description must match the actual waste being moved, including any contaminated packaging that forms part of the waste. A pallet is not a substitute for the required classification, packaging and documentation. Where the waste note lacks required dangerous-goods information, separate transport documentation may also be needed.
What to check next
- Have the consignor classify all waste components.
- Check environmental and transport documentation together.
