Labels and receiving
Is an SSCC pallet label the same as an ISPM 15 stamp?
No. GS1's SSCC identifies a logistics unit for tracking, such as a loaded pallet. It does not certify timber treatment, pallet strength or food hygiene. Keep the shipment identifier linked to the correct contents and retain separately required pallet or cargo evidence.
What to check next
- Ask which label format and shipment data the receiver requires.
- Do not reuse another shipment's identifier.
