Can pallet deliveries be taken across gravel or into a house?
Do not assume so. Palletways Online describes its standard service as kerbside and excludes gravel, grass and unsuitable slopes for pallet-truck handling. That is a service-specific restriction, not a universal legal weight rule. Agree access and the unloading method with the booked carrier.
What to check next
- Send surface and access details before booking.
- Arrange a suitable alternative if a pallet truck cannot reach the drop point.
