Can staff roll heavy paper reels off a pallet by hand?
Do not decide from weight alone. HSE identifies reel size, shape, pushing and pulling as manual-handling risks. Plan suitable reel-handling equipment and the receiving process before dispatch; palletising a reel does not make removing it safe.
